The city of Bucharest also showed good results this year and is getting closer to the global top 100. It jumped 3 spots in the Index to 108th globally, and is now the highest ranked city in Romania and in the Balkans region. The second highest ranked city in Romania, Cluj-Napoca, lost 80 spots to rank 330th globally.
